A Raschel-type knotless net machine​ is built around creels, guide bars, and needles that interlock synthetic yarns into looped mesh without tying knots. This type routinely processes nylon monofilament, nylon multifilament, PE monofilament, and PE tape yarn. Nylon is favored for high-strength applications such as sports nets, safety nets, and deep-water aquaculture cages because of its abrasion resistance and tensile strength. Polyethylene-especially HDPE and LDPE-is lighter, more weather-resistant, and floats in water, making it ideal for agricultural shade nets, fishing nets, and fruit packaging sleeves. Material choice drives downstream performance. Nylon knotless nets sink, resist UV moderately (often with stabilizer masterbatch), and hold shape under heavy load.
